About
I help you get change delivered
That might be an independent practice or a national group, a buying group, a software vendor or an investor. It might be you personally: an owner, clinical director or manager leading change from the inside. The work covers software change (including practice management systems, or PIMS), along with data, operations and the way an organisation runs.
I have done this work inside veterinary groups and inside the vendors that sell to them. So I know where each side's plans tend to break, and how to keep them moving.
Where I have worked
- VetPartners
- Project management
- Linnaeus, part of Mars Veterinary Health
- Transformation and product development
- Lupa Pets
- Founding-stage veterinary software start up
- Provet/Vetera
- Enterprise delivery, including Greencross, AniCura, AmeriVet, TPP and Pets at Home
So when I talk about the vendor side and the group side, I mean places I have actually worked, not abstractions.

What I have delivered
From 1 site to 100+
Provet, Pets at Home account
I joined the Provet PIMS rollout for Pets at Home in September 2025. It had run for more than two and a half years with 50+ people and had delivered one site. I worked out where it was stuck and changed what needed to change, including restructuring the delivery team. 44 locations went live in my first six months, and more than 100 within a year. A signed plan covers all 470 by the end of H1 2027.The Provet PIMS rollout for Pets at Home had delivered one site in more than two and a half years. 120,000+ customers
Linnaeus Veterinary Group, Mars Veterinary Health
Linnaeus wanted one preventative care subscription, Pet Health for Life, across its 300+ primary care locations. I led it from scoping through pilot to full rollout over two years. Every location adopted it. Over 120,000 customers subscribed, generating more than £25m in annual recurring revenue (ARR), and subscription penetration rose from under 20% to 30%. The model then shaped subscription guidance across Mars Veterinary Health's international businesses, including AniCura and Banfield.I led Pet Health for Life, one preventative care subscription, across 300+ Linnaeus locations over two years. 160+ sites signed
Vetera, Greencross Vets, Australia
I provided the subject matter expertise, statement of work and consultancy behind Greencross Vets signing with Vetera in Australia, Vetera's first enterprise deal in that market. Multi-million £ RFP led
Linnaeus Veterinary Group, payments processor
Linnaeus needed a payments processor for direct debit and recurring card payments across its clinics. I led the request for proposal (RFP), rigorously evaluating three vendors, and the chosen processor won a multi-million pound contract. Five years on, the relationship is still running.I led the request for proposal (RFP) for Linnaeus's payments processor, rigorously evaluating three vendors: a multi-million pound contract, still running five years on.
Also
- 6+ months inside a live CMA investigation. Supporting the Linnaeus Data and Analytics team through a Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) investigation, supplying the underlying data and contributing to operational change recommendations.
- 2-year data warehouse migration to the cloud. Moving the Linnaeus data warehouse from an on-premises SQL Server to Microsoft Azure.
- 2 products at a veterinary start up. At Lupa Pets, I gave the founders, engineers and product team industry guidance and helped shape Lupa OS and Lupa Notes for their alpha customers.
How I work
I am driven by results and by seeing quality work actually delivered. Too often I see vendors and decision makers settle for less. Nobody should settle for "good enough".
In practice that means diagnosing a problem from both sides, recommending what a delivery team can actually deliver, and staying until it is done.
Beyond the day job
I have stayed in this sector because of the people in the clinics and their passion for quality patient care. In my spare time I build my own AI tools. Outside of delivering transformation, I play a lot of padel and I am learning German, slowly.
